Region:
Asia-Pacific

Project assistance by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) to Bangladesh fell down to US$4.44 million in the last financial year due to down scaling of project aid policy from both the bank and government.

The figure is down from $39.83 million in 2016-17, $100.49 million in 2015-16, $132.92 million in 2014-15, and $76.94 million in 2013-14.

However, trade and insurance financing went up significantly by the bank to Bangladesh.
