AFD closes €500m climate bond fundraising

Agence Francaise de Developpment (AFD) has closed its latest climate bond fundraising – a €500 million seven-year issue (maturity 31 October 2025) with a coupon of 0.5%. Bookrunners were BNP Paribas, Credit Agricole, HSBC, Natixis and Societe Generale. Proceeds will be used to support projects with greenhouse gas reduction greater than 10KtCO2 eq. /year and climate change reduction schemes.
