KfW to fund $17m water treatment plant in Kenya

German development bank KfW is to finance a $17 million water treatment plant in Kericho County, Kenya. It is hoped the project will curb perennial water shortage in the county. 

Kimugu Water Treatment Plant is set for completion in April 2021 and will benefit more than 200,000 households in Ainamoi and Belgut constituencies once complete.
