EBRD and IRENA to build bankable renewables project pipeline

The International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) and the EBRD have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on accelerating efforts to rapidly increase the share of renewable power in EBRD countries of operation. The partners agreed to cooperate more closely in delivering technical assistance and capacity building, and to develop a pipeline of bankable renewable energy projects for financing by private investors alongside the EBRD and other lenders.
