EBRD reveals winners of the 2020 Sustainability Awards
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has announced the winners of its 2020 Sustainability Awards.
The awards recognise achievements in five categories: sustainable energy, climate resilience, environmental and social best practice, environmental and social innovation, and gender and inclusion.
The joint winners of the Gold Award for Sustainable Energy are Chem Poland and Shams Al Etisalat Lil Taka PSC, Jordan; while in the Climate Resilience category, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management in Serbia has taken home the Gold Award.
The City of Lviv in Ukraine won gold for Environmental & Social Best Practice; while the Environmental & Social Innovation award went to Polcom, a Polish provider of modular construction that caters to the hospitality industry worldwide. Meanwhile, The winner of the Gold Award in the Gender and Inclusion category was JSC Medical Corporation EVEX in Georgia.
